When I am not shooting my own wedding couples, I can be found Second Shooting for other area Photographers/friends. This wedding as one for Photos by Neyan. I shoot for Neyan often and she also shoots for me from time to time. I love the fact that many of my friends are also photographers and we are able to help make each other successful. Teamwork makes the Dream Work.
Many couples want 2 photographers at their wedding. I have a list that I use based on availability and I also shoot for a specific few. It is a Win/Win all the way around. Neyan and I both shoot Nikon and we have similar shooting styles. I shoot on her memory cards and keep a back up card of images just in case when I am a 2nd shooter. Each photographer friend has a specific plan for their wedding day coverage and it is fun to figure out each person's likes/dislikes and requests on a busy wedding day! Being the 2nd shooter is way less pressure. I turn over images and I am done for the day. I get to keep a few images that I love for my own portfolio or to show other couples and other photographers my talents behind the camera. 2nd shooters are often responsible for detail pics and for creative angles and this helps the lead photographer have images with a different perspective.
Our Lady of Sorrow was the location for the ceremony and The Loretto was the Reception Venue. The couple was fun to work with and I always have a good time shooting for Photos by Neyan. Thanks for having me girl!
