I love getting to know my clients. Photographing Seniors and this defining moment in their lives where they literally have the World at their fingertips is something that brings me pure joy! I love seeing how exctied they are for their Senior year. I love planning out their Senior sessions in a way that captures their beauty, hobbies and personalities! This year was exceptionally strange for the Seniors that I photographed. The plans they had for themselves were drastically altered. They had to learn life lessons earlier than most kids in the past.
I asked some of my Seniors to explain how the Covid 19 Stay at home orders impacted their lives and here is what Harmony had to say:
"Corona has taught me that I need to spend more time with my family before I go to college and start my own life. I am going to Northwest Missouri State University in Fall 2020 to major in Fine Arts - Photography. My favorite part of senior year was finally getting to take the classes I wanted, such as foods, and sewing. My least favorite part is not getting to do all the things seniors would normally do because I was in band and Corona messed up going to Prom. My Switch Focus Studio experience has been great because since I’m wanting to be a photographer, I know what leading lines and back lit means, so I have an idea of what the photo is going to look like. I’m glad I also got to take some photos with my sister and best friend before I leave and before she got shipped. Thank you for the experience!"
Best wishes for you at Northwest in the Fall Harmony. I enjoyed getting to know you this year. Your smile is infectious, so don't let life take that smile away! You will have many choices in life and I am happy that one of your choices led you to Switch Focus Studios! Can't wait to watch you shine!
